Corrections Policy - MiliVox
At MiliVox, we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. When mistakes occur, we believe in correcting them openly and promptly.
1. Our Commitment to Accuracy
We strive to ensure that all articles are fact-checked and verified before publication. However, given the fast-paced and complex nature of defense and security reporting, errors may occasionally occur.
2. How We Handle Corrections
- Minor corrections (e.g., spelling errors, formatting issues) are updated silently without notice.
- Factual corrections (e.g., incorrect data, misidentified equipment, misquoted sources) are corrected immediately and noted at the bottom of the article with a timestamp.
- Substantive updates (e.g., new developments that change the understanding of a story) are included within the article and marked as Update.
3. Reader-Initiated Corrections
Readers play a key role in maintaining our accuracy. If you notice an error in our reporting, please contact us at admin@milivox.media with the subject line “Correction Request”.
Your request should include:
- The title of the article
- The URL
- The specific error and suggested correction
- Supporting evidence or sources (if possible)
We review all requests and typically respond within 5 business days.
4. Transparency in Archived Content
Corrections are applied to both current and archived versions of articles. We do not delete content to “erase” mistakes — instead, we correct and document them to preserve transparency.
5. Retractions
In rare cases where an article is found to be fundamentally flawed or based on false information, we will issue a full retraction. A retraction notice will remain publicly visible to explain the reason.
6. Editorial Accountability
The responsibility for corrections lies with the editor-in-chief and the author of the article. Every correction is reviewed to ensure it upholds our editorial standards and strengthens trust with our readers.
